SHOWstudio: Gareth Pugh Autumn/Winter 2009 by Ruth Hogben

Gareth Pugh A/W 2009. This video still amaze's me. It seems very unnatural and alien like, with the odd body language and slow movesments. It has a great choice of music, stange sounds that match the video. I love how its simply a model and a plain background, and yet you can't take your eyes off whats going on. I also think it shows off the garments really well and their functions but not in a obvious way like a catwalk. In area's of the film small movements are repeated sevral times, its effects like them that make Gareth Pugh's work so amazing.

It looks amazingly futuristic with a hard rock vibe to it.
