This design (above) is personally my favorite, it reminds me of Africa. Ths copper colours and the Lions head on either shoulder representing womens strengh and fight to be at the top. Even added long false nails to add more animalistic qualitys. The golds make this outfit strand making it very rich and expensive looking.Fashion show video, the first garment i had ever created. It was a very proud and rememberable night. The excitment of the back stage, the rush as everyones trying to dress their models in a tiny room thats boiling. Outfits break moments before they go down the cat walk. Maddness.
This Victor & Rolf collection is simply amazing, and visually outstanding. The amount of volume used in the garments and over the top size makes this A/W very edgy + unique. The pieces are being moved from model to model, i like this as it shows how the garment works and its function, also how there being past down and rewarn. Every model had a cap and shades, appart from the Finally outfit, where the hair is slick back up into a loose bun, the final garment is made up of a skirt on the shoulders, the model almost gets swollowed and lost in the fabric, its a dramatic ending and very impressive. The technique and time which would have been put in really pays off.
Here is my advertising board, i created a Designer name + slogan. I really enjoyed this breif and understanding market levels and creating idea's for advertising how to suit to audience and grab their attention. This is one reason why i think a Creative Director is one of my strong area's and would be the right career for me.
